Experience

Pakmail 5/13 – 8/13

The summer of 2013 I worked at Pakmail, which is a locally owned shipping company in Gretna, Louisiana.

Core Solutions, LLC 5/14 – 1/16

For three summers and three winter breaks I worked at One Shell Square in New Orleans as an intern for Core Solutions, LLC. Core Solutions is contracted by Shell to facilitate onshore and offshore surveillance of Shell’s oil and gas platforms. I mostly worked with computer programs and wrote code to be utilized in monitoring equipment and processes on drilling platforms. Since I’ve worked there, I’ve helped detect and debug 300+ errors and have worked closely with the 120 templates that Core Solutions utilizes. I’ve helped maximize the efficiency and reliability of their surveillance from 80% to 95%.
